Railway stations in major cities in India

Delhi:Delhi railway station is the biggest railway stations in the north; all the connecting long route trains are available from there. Sarai Rohilla and Hazrat Nizamudin stations are other railway stations and the main railway station is in central Delhi. Delhi connection railway station is in central old Delhi. The major capital railway station is in New Delhi.

Bombay: The main source of traveling in Bombay is local trains and there are many railway stations, but the main railway station and the popular one is colonial Victoria Terminus which is famous as VT station but now the name has changed to CST. Mainly, people look for the trains from CST station but if they do not find the suitable one then they look for Bombay central terminus i.e. BCT. Go for Dadar station, if you still cannot find the train.

Calcutta: The main and major railway station of Calcutta is in Howrah which is crossways to the Howrah River. The trains are available from Calcutta station to jalpaiguri which is headed towards Darjeeling, and then they use Calcutta sealdeh station for those trains.

Agra: The major station for the fast trains in Agra is Agra Cantonment. The way to the railway station is a taxi or an auto rickshaw travel from the Taj Mahal.

Goa: There are two main railway stations in Goa; Vasco da Gama and Magdaon and. So, it is very necessary to use these stations and check the train time before traveling.

The trip via train takes about 36 hours from Bombay to Calcutta or from Delhi to Madras. In the same case the journey with a fast train from Bombay to Delhi or Calcutta to Delhi takes 24 hours. Depending upon what you prefer you can get the suitable one.
