Major Trains in Indian Railways
The railways are most preferred means of transport for both the long journeys as well as for the short journeys. As compared to cost of traveling, they are cheapest and fastest means of transport. There are various types of trains and a variety of classes is also available in them. There are eight different classes in railways but all of them are not available in a single train. The selection of class in a train depends upon the budget of a person. For overnight or long period journeys AC2 {2nd class 2-tier air conditioned} class is most preferable. If the buyer is not comfortable in that it can also buy AC1 {1st class air conditioned}, it is more comfortable than AC2.
For adventurous journeys sleeper class is the best choice or AC3 will also be fine. For the journeys which are to be covered during day time air condition chair car will be fine.
These were the major classes about the train but now we are talking about the major trains of India. Rajdhani Express trains excellent; they are extra fast and are the best choice for long journeys. It starts from Delhi and links it with the various other regional capitals like Bombay, Calcutta. It leaves in the early morning and arrives in early morning and saves a lot of time.
The other most preferred train is Shatabdi Express. It is also one
of the fastest air conditioned train. It covers routes like Delhi
to Agra, Delhi to Jaipur. It has air conditioned chair classes which
are very comfortable. Refreshment is included in fare. These trains
are highly recommendable for long route journeys.
